Liam’s Light Shines.
Liam's Light Foundation was born from our personal journey through grief and loss. Founded with a core mission of extending empathy and compassion to those navigating their own tragedies, we draw from our experiences to illuminate the path toward healing. The devastating loss of our oldest son, Liam Harrison, in a drowning accident on January 17, 2021, marked a turning point in our lives. Amidst the darkest of times, the unwavering support of our friends, family, and community became a guiding light.
Driven by this outpouring of love and solidarity, we established Liam's Light Foundation to offer solace, support, and understanding to others facing grief and loss of all varieties.
Our goal is simple yet profound:
To share the invaluable lessons we've learned and provide resources for individuals to navigate the complexities of grief, whether it be your own or in support of another.
Liam Harrison was a remarkable young soul who brought joy and adventure into every moment of his life. Born with an insatiable curiosity and a love for the great outdoors, Liam found solace and excitement in camping, hiking, climbing, and all things Star Wars. His infectious enthusiasm for exploration and discovery was matched only by his unwavering positivity. No matter the circumstances, when asked how he was doing, Liam's response was always a resounding "Great!"
But Liam's greatness extended far beyond his love for adventure. Liam loved BIG, and his family held a special place in his heart. His adoration for his cousins and friends knew no bounds, and his kindness and compassion radiated wherever he went.
This foundation stands as a tribute to Liam's spirit, a testament to the joy he brought to the world, and a reminder of the impact kindness and positivity can have on those around us. Though Liam may no longer walk among us, his memory lives on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know him.
At Liam’s Light Foundation, we strive to continue that legacy by sharing compassion and empathy with others, and shine a light in the darkness of grief.
